The 2021 Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) National Scientific Conference, Workshop and Annual General Meeting hosting right has been awarded to Bayelsa State.
Bayelsa State was named the host state at the just concluded emergency National Executive Council Meeting.
Bayelsa, a state that is among the fastest growing and the fastest developing in the country will be playing host to Medical Laboratory Scientists across the country in a later date to be announced.
This is coming as few weeks ago, a team from AMLSN National were in the State to see whether the state has what it takes to host the largest gathering of Medical Laboratory Scientists in the Country. The team were marvelled at what they saw, hence the hosting rights.
Meanwhile, the National Organizing Committee has already been formed, they include: Dr. Miriam Unachukwu (chairperson), Osarabo Esien, Anthony Asiodu. Dr. E. S. Agoro, Valerie Ugochi.
In the same vein, the Bayelsa State AMLSN Branch Dr. E. S Agoro has expressed appreciation to AMLSN National for granting the State the hosting rights even as he promised to ensure that this year’s Annual Scientific Conference and AGM will be the best organized ever.
