The Registrar/CEO Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (MLSCN) has charged Young Medical Laboratory Scientists on the proper use of the internet.
The MLSCN Registrar/CEO Dr. Tosan Erhabor gave the charge while speaking at the 4th National Summit of the Young Medical Laboratory Scientists Forum held at Portharcourt, the Rivers State Capital.
Dr. Tosan charged Young Medical Laboratory Scientists to see the internet as an avenue for them to develop their skills, expand their frontiers of knowledge among other things. He decried the situation where practitioners use the internet for destructive purposes and stressed on the need for those involved in such acts to desist.
The Council boss also charged practitioners to diversify into other fields of human endeavours, stressing that it is not a must to practice as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
In the same vein, the Council registrar hammered on the need for Young Medical Laboratory Scientists to dress as professionals even as he frowned at indecent dressing.
Today is day one of the Young Medical Laboratory Scientists Forum (YMLSF) Elective National Summit tagged Rivers 2021. The Summit will be rounded up with an election tomorrow that will usher in a fresh crop of leadership to pilot the affairs of the forum for the next three years.
