A Young Medical Laboratory Scientist practising in Imo State has lost his life while trying to rescue his Neighbours from a house that was engulfed by an inferno.
According to a story told by someone close to the Deceased, the Deceased “came back from call duty, saw his neighbor’s house on fire, entered to rescue the occupants but couldn’t make it out from the house. Arinze died saving life. A beautiful soul is gone. May God console ur mum and grant ur brothers the fortitude to bear this lost. Rest in peace my intern rep.”
Meanwhile, condolence messages have continued to pour in for late Arinze. In a condolence message tagged “YMLSF Mourns a Hero” by the National Secretary of Young Medical Laboratory Scientists Forum (YMLSF) MLS. Jegede O. Suleiman, the Forum described the deceased as a hero.

The Young Medical Laboratory Scientists Forum regrets to announce the death of one of our own, MLS Arinze Dire, who passed away yesterday (10/12/2022).
The unfortunate incident occurred while he was trying to rescue his neighbour whose house was on fire.
MLS Arinze out of his love for humanity and good heart died a hero.
On this note, the national president of YMLSF has declared tomorrow (12th/12/2022) as a mourning day for our lost colleague. In addition, there will be prayer sessions for him tomorrow of which our national program director will enlighten us on the time and persons to lead these sessions.
We pray God grants the immediate family and YMLSF the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
