Medical Lab. Scientists under the umbrella of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) Rivers State Branch recently engaged members of the Nigerian Medical Association, Rivers State Branch in the beautiful game of football as part of activities to mark their annual week.
The match was entertaining as the Medical Doctors led by 4 goals to nil by halftime with goals from Drs Donatus, Fortune, Tammy, and Joses.
On the other side, the Medical Lab. Scientists were able to pull 2 goals back and the full-time was 4 goals to 2 in favour of the Medical Doctors.
The Medical Doctors were presented with the winner’s trophy and had a match sit-out with the members and executives of the AMLSN Rivers State.

The NMA Rivers State Branch Chairman – Dr. Ebbi Robinson and the chairman of the NMA Rivers sports committee – Dr. Dan-Echems led the NMA Rivers delegation to the auspicious event.
This is a welcome development to end the seemingly professional rivalry between health professional groups.
