Haematology and Blood Transfusion Scientists’ Society of Nigeria (HBTSSN) leadership led by its National President Prof. ZA Jeremiah had paid an unscheduled courtesy visit to Sct Ahmed Saibakumo the new Director, Medical Laboratory Service (DMLS) of Federal Medical Centre Yenagoa (FMCY) as a show of solidarity on his appointment. While congratulating the new DMLS FMCY in his office, Prof Jeremiah said the appointment is for such a time as this, when Haematologists in Bayelsa will be hosting the entire country and foreign delegates come March 2024.
Prof. Jeremiah solicited the Director’s support and requested him to mobilize Haematologists in FMCY to register for the HBTSSN Conference.
In his response, the DMLS FMCY promised to lend his support as a member of the society and that he would mobilize FMCY members and urged the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) Chairman to work with him.
