The National leadership of the Association of Medical Laboratory Technicians and Assistants of Nigeria (AMELTAN) has paid a congratulatory visit to the recently inaugurated National Executive Officers of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN).
Led by their National President, Kasimu Shehu, a delegation from AMELTAN visited the AMLSN National Secretariat in Durumi Phase 1, Abuja recently.
Speaking during the visit, Kasimu Shehu emphasized the significance of fostering collaboration between the two associations to champion the cause for the advancement of Medical Laboratory practice in Nigeria. He highlighted the need for increased support from AMLSN to enable Medical Laboratory Technicians to achieve greater success in their field.
On his part, Dr. Casmir Ifeanyi, the National President of AMLSN, expressed profound joy at the visit and stressed the importance of working harmoniously for the general benefit of all members.
The meeting addressed salient issues related to welfare and good laboratory practices, underlining the shared commitment to maintaining high standards in the profession.
The delegation from AMELTAN included Mr. Buhari Yalu (PRO), Mr. Livinus Clement (Assistant Secretary), and Mrs. Temitope Folajimi (Vice President).
Following a robust discussion, a group photograph was taken to commemorate the occasion, symbolising the unity and collaboration between the two vital pillars of the Nigerian medical laboratory community.
