The management of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) has issued a fresh update on the renewal of Annual Practice Licenses.
According to the publication, Medical Laboratory Scientists and Technicians who have obtained their annual practice licenses and work permit as the case maybe from 2022 are henceforth advised to pay for their fees via the online portal for practitioners registration and annual licensure renewal – http://portal.mlscn.gov.ng/.

All Medical Laboratory on the MLSCN portal, who have obtained the 2022 and 2023 licenses, are advised to pay their annual practicing fees on the portal.
Fees paid via Remita will no longer count as valid payment for license to. Those who have backlog of payments from 2021 downwards can still pay through Remita.
These directives take effect with payments for all 2024 licenses.
