HBTSSN Slashes 2024 Conference Fee: See New Rates

In a bid to foster wider participation and inclusivity, the organizers of the 3rd Biennial International Scientific Conference of the Haematology and Blood Transfusion Scientists Society (HBTSSN) have announced a significant reduction in the conference registration fee. This move comes as a result of the generous support and sponsorship the event has garnered, allowing for a 50% decrease in registration costs.

 

The National and Local Organizing Committees have confirmed that the revised registration fees are as follows:

 

Practicing Medical Laboratory Scientists: ₦15,000

Intern Medical Laboratory Scientists: ₦7,500

Students of Medical Laboratory Science nominated by their Department: Free of charge

 

Previously set at ₦30,000 for practicing medical laboratory scientists, the reduced fee aims to make the conference more accessible to professionals at various stages of their careers. Additionally, the complimentary registration for nominated students underscores the commitment to nurturing the next generation of talent in the field.

 

For those who have already paid the higher registration fee, arrangements have been made to nominate a replacement attendee and seek reimbursement from the nominated individual.
